Ingredients
For the Chicken:
- Chicken pieces (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- Ginger (a little, minced)
- Garlic (minced)
- Salt (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)
- Cornstarch (for coating)
For the Sauce:
Butter Honey Garlic (additional, minced)
For Serving:

Instructions
Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine the bite-sized chicken pieces with a little minced ginger, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat the chicken on both sides. Let marinate briefly. Coat the Chicken: Add cornstarch to the marinated chicken and mix thoroughly until all pieces are well coated. Cook the Chicken: Heat oil in a pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the cornstarch-coated chicken pieces and cook until golden brown and crispy on all sides, and cooked through. Remove from pan and set aside. Make the Honey Butter Garlic Sauce: In the same pan (or a clean pan), melt butter over medium heat. Add honey and minced garlic. Stir together until well combined and the mixture becomes fragrant. Combine: Add the cooked chicken back to the pan with the honey butter garlic sauce. Toss well to coat all the chicken pieces evenly with the sauce. Serve: Place cooked white rice in a bowl. Top with the honey butter garlic chicken. Sprinkle with sesame seeds (white and/or black) for garnish.
